Oasis Point Looktout's Official Poem of Summer 2010!!

Talent show was great today...lots of energetic acts full of Oasis spirit. There was one act's words that captured our hearts and the staff at Oasis Point Lookout have agreed to make it the Official Poem of Summer 2010.

If you take a teddy to camp, he'll want to do morning rally.

If he does morning rally, he'll want to go in the van.

If he goes in the van, he'll want to talk to Percy.

If he talks to Percy, he'll want to carry the water cooler.

If he carries the water cooler, he'll want to go to the beach.

If he goes to the beach, he'll want a bathing suit.

If he gets a bathing suit, he'll want to go in the water.

If he goes in the water, he'll want to have lunch.

If he has lunch, he'll want to go skateboarding.

If he goes skateboarding, he'll want to go inside to cool off.

If he goes inside to cool off, he'll want to play with his new friends.

If he plays with his new friends, he'll want to come back tomorrow.

Wednesday is Favorite Color Day!

It was a great day for campers here at Oasis! D2 went on their trip and D1 enjoyed the grounds of Nickerson and they enjoyed having the beach all to themselves! Here are some shots of the day and today's gallery features the wacky styles from Crazy Hat/Hair Day!

Tuesday is Group Leader Appreciation Day & D2 Trip

Tuesday is Group Leader Appreciation Day! We want to show all the group leaders just how much they are a huge impact to the campers this summer by giving them their own day! Like in school how we give your teachers an apple...you can do the same to the GLs or with a card to tell them how important they are to us!

1A also wants to welcome Group Leader Stashalee to the group!

Division 2 is on their field trip to the Queens Hall of Science while Division 1 heads to Nickerson!

Some Notes on Week 6

Hi-Dee-Hi Oasis Families!
Week 6 is a very busy week for us here at Oasis Point Lookout. Our 6th continental stop this week will be in Asia! Campers will also be going on a Field Trip to the Queens Hall Of Science this week! Division 2 (Groups 2A,2B,2C,2D) will be going on TUESDAY
Division 1 (Groups 1A,1B,1C,1D) will be going on WEDNESDAY.
We also are preparing our Talent Show on Thursday from 2:45 - 4pm. Parents are invited too!
